The Romans Road to Salvation
The "Romans Road" to salvation is how you can be saved in a nut shell. It is a string of verses that can be read, explaining the good news of salvation. At the end, there is often a short prayer that can be recited through faith.

1. Who needs salvation?[1]
- Rom 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God....
2. Is there anybody "good" on this planet?
- Rom 3:10 As it is written: "There is none righteous, no not one;"
- Rom 3:12 ....There is none who does good, no not one.
3. Why do we need salvation?[1]
- Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

5. How do we receive salvation?[1]
- Rom 10:9 That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
- Rom 10:13 For whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
6. What are the results of salvation?[1]
- Rom 5:1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ....
- Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus....

Saying this prayer is a way to declare to God that you are relying on Jesus Christ for your salvation.[2]
Prayer: "God, I know that I have sinned against you and am deserving of punishment. But Jesus Christ took the punishment that I deserve so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven. With your help, I place my trust in You for salvation. Thank You for Your wonderful grace and forgiveness - the gift of eternal life![2] Amen!"
The words themselves will not save you. Only faith in Jesus Christ can provide salvation![2]
