How to fight against these types of demons

III. ( page 2B )

Christians battle against 2nd heaven demons differently than they do with earthbound demons that attempt to attack people in the 1st heaven realm.

Image #1

John Paul Jackson then further states in his book that if God does  specifically commission you to do this type of work for Him, just  pray to Him that He be the One to fight this kind of battle in the  heavenlies.  Do not try and use the same wording as you would with  a demon who is on the inside of a person.[1]

When someone has demons on the inside of them, we have the  authority and power to literally cast them out in the name of Jesus.  We can speak directly to the demons telling them to leave that  person in the name of Jesus.[1]

But if you do get a special type of assignment like this from the Lord, do not use the same wording.  In other words, do  not directly engage with these 2nd heaven demons telling them to leave their 2nd heaven position in the name of Jesus.  Just pray direct to the Lord and ask that He directly handle these 2nd heaven demons for you.[1]

Let's take a look at some examples of spiritual warfare from both the 1st heavens and then in the 2nd heavens realm!

Satan also has many of his demons who are working down here on this first heaven, which I believe is our earth.  Many people call these earthbound demons.  These are the demons who will try and attach to people, whether it be

to get in on the inside of their bodies, or follow them around like a dark cloud trying to cause as much trouble and  mayhem as they possibly can with them.[1]

Your defense as a christian against the attacks of the enemy:

Eph 6  (v. 11) Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

It all starts out with prayer!!

Mark 1  (v. 35) Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed.

So Jesus started His day off with prayer, as are we to do so also.

It costs something to be a person of prayer.  Many christians struggle to have a prayer closet and they find prayer boring.  The devil gets excited over this.  Jesus was the greatest example of a man of prayer.  It's time to pray.  Don't allow the enemy to steal your prayer life....In order to overcome those satanic powers we need to live righteous lives and a life of prayer, so we can resist these dark powers that are aiming for us every day.  If we don't live for Jesus Christ we are opening doors, portals, and gateways to the kingdom of darkness.[2]

Rom 12  (v. 1) I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. (v. 2) And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

We are soldiers of Christ; and those who enlist in His army are expected to do difficult work, work which will tax their  energies to the utmost.  We must understand that a soldier's life is one of aggressive warfare, of perseverance and  endurance.  For Christ's sake we are to endure trials.[3]

We are not engaged in mimic battles.  We have to meet most powerful  adversaries; for "we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against  principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this  world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." (Ephesians 6:12).[3]

We are to find our strength  just where the early disciples found their  strength: "These all continued with one accord in prayer and  supplication."  "And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they  spake the word of God with boldness.  And the multitude of them that  believed were of one heart and of one soul." (Acts 1:14; 4:31, 32).[3]

And because of your status as a child of God, stand against the enemy in spiritual warfare[5] with:

Eph 6  (v.16) above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.  (v. 17) And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Why do we put on all of this armor if we never go into battle?   What is it for?

How did Jesus participate in this spiritual warfare?

Mark 1  (v. 23) Now there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit. And he cried out, (v. 24) saying, “Let us alone! What have we to do with You,...” (v. 25) But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet, and come out of him!”

(verse 27) Then they were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, “What is this?  What new doctrine is this?  For with authority He

commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him.”

Noticed that He didn't pray the demon out, but rather rebuked & commanded with authority!!

In the same way friends, it's a big mistake to think that we can go up against the devil in times of temptation without first storing away the ammunition of God's Word in our minds.  All the times that Jesus was tempted, He met every temptation with "It is written....It is written....It is written" (Matt 4:4,7,10).  If we expect to overcome the devil in the battles of life, we need to be fortifying our minds with God's truth.[4]

This appears to be how "we" as christians, are to participate in the spiritual warfare[5] that is around us on the earth and in the 1st heavens realm.

First we pray, and fill our minds with the ammunition of God’s Word, and then we exercise our authority to rebuke & command, in the name of Jesus!!

Luke 10  (v. 1) After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also,

and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go. (v. 17) Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.” And He said to them,...(v. 19) Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Reflect for a moment....what it means for Jesus to make us His representatives.  If you were to select a person to represent you such that the authority of your name could be used for any purpose, what level of confidence would you need to place in that person?[6]

I’ve thought about that many times, because it is like an ambassador....using the authority vested in his sovereign’s name....When we use the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we are enjoying the same privileges, and operating under the same mandates, as that ambassador.[6]

We now will turn our attention to a different type of spiritual warfare that is designed to change the entire atmosphere of evil that satan uses to cover cities and geographical areas.

Image #6

Territories are blessed or cursed according to the spiritual powers over them.  If christians pray and conduct themselves in a manner pleasing to God, he can change the nature of the power over the land based on a response to the prayers of intercession and repentance.

....give me a net and I will fish your nation out of troubled waters....If you will institute a network of united prayer all over the nation....you will be able to conquer the evil principality ruling over your nation....Under that covering, you will have greater legal ground to come against the principality ruling over your nation....how shall we make a net of prayer all over the land?....the Lord answered, I am calling for every individual christian to start praying.  Let every christian family start praying together and let there be prayer going on in every church.  Let christians start prayer in their workplaces.  By doing that, you will be giving Me legal ground to work in your land.[7]

Jer 18  (v. 7) The instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, to pull down, and to destroy it, (v. 8) if that nation....turns from its evil, I will relent of the disaster that I thought to bring upon it. (v. 9) And the instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it, (v. 10) if it does evil in My sight so that it does not obey My voice, then I will relent concerning the good with which I said I would benefit it.

[the devil] has....a strategy and militant game plan to take over neighborhoods and regions, because if you can take over these territories you can paralyze the churches in the spirit realm....because everything starts in the spirit realm before you see it manifest in the natural....How we combat this in the spirit realm as believers is, as soon as we see something like this manifest, we dismantle it through prayer and fasting in the spirit realm, so it will not carry over to other locations that will affect our generation.  We need to curse it, cut it, and uproot it; And that's how we accomplish through Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit to defeat the enemy and his game plan.[8]

Image #7

Col 2  (v. 15) Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

A net of prayer that would be formed by people praying individually and within groups in various parts of the nation.  This would create a spiritual atmosphere that would give God legal authority and legal ground to intervene in the affairs of....and save our nation from total devastation....As  you build prayer altars throughout the land, you will begin to see the tide of darkness broken and My presence drawn into the land.  You will only find success in what you are doing in the physical realm after you have won the battle in the spiritual realm.[9]

I Pet 2  (v. 5) you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Fasting is so important.  Many people fasted in the bible.  Fasting moves the heart of God and brings break-through in the spiritual realm.  In the days of old it saved nations, won battles and wars, destroyed strongholds....Intercessory prayer destroys and dismantles the devil's kingdom in the spirit realm....Fear comes over the kingdom of satan when we live an obedient life....The devil can only operate and succeed with his attack when we step out of that obedient life.…We must have perseverance, and with the authority and confidence we have in Jesus Christ.  We have to be more determined and more consistent than the enemy.  Perseverance is not an occasional thing; it’s a commitment and a lifestyle to the supremacy of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, walking in His power in faith, knowing who He is and who we are in Him.[10]

Removal of such wicked heavenly powers requires either a large number of intercessors or christian leaders coming together for that purpose.  We must not try to take by force what God will grant in His time by grace.

They began to build prayer altars in their homes, offices, institutions of learning, and community centers; they were creating openings in the spiritual realm.  A fire of prayer was touching every aspect of our society, creating an environment where the presence of God was drawn into those places.  It also began to push back the darkness: the corruption, worldly mindsets, sin, and other forms of darkness that were eroding our society.[11]

The covering of destruction that had been thrown over the nation by satan and his agents to hinder communion between heaven and earth was being punctured as each group of people raised up intercession, spiritual warfare....These numerous punctures soon perforated the covering of darkness over the nation and it was broken open, meaning that the Holy Spirit could flow through the nation and touch every area of society at unprecedented levels.[11]

A prayer altar session is a two-part worship time of saturating in His word and then drawing the presence of God by praising Him while listening to worship music.

Prayer Altars are powerful.  They can push back darkness, change the spiritual  atmosphere of cities and nations, and bring redemption to elements of society that were  eroding.  They can bring about the purposes of God and produce tangible fruits of the  kingdom of God flowing into the lives of the people of that land.[12]

Gen 12  (v. 7) Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, “To your descendants I will give this land.” And.... (v. 8) there he built an altar to the Lord and called on the name of the Lord.

Abraham’s situation is not unique to ours today.  We are living in nations where spiritual  forces of darkness have found gateways through which to come and influence the people  in the areas in which we live.  These dark forces then influence the people to live in such a way that they are servicing  the dark altars, which give the spiritual forces of darkness authority to reign and have control over their territories....A  church in a land where darkness is flooding in is being affected by that darkness.  It is being drawn into a place of  slumber, blindness, and powerlessness.[13]

When we sum up everything that we have read, we can conclude that we only have jurisdiction over the demons that inhabit this earthly realm.  We are forbidden from assailing or otherwise confronting principalities, rulers and dominions that remain in the second heavens; that must be done corporately in groups, the bigger the number, the more power that is available to destroy the enemy’s reign over that area.

But in the end, victory belongs to Jesus....victory belongs to Him    video ref. [14]

Who can stand against the Lord....no one can....no one will
