The 3 Blessings of Salvation

(1) I am saved,... ( Justification )

1st Blessing – Peace with God. ( Rom 5:1 )

(2) I am being saved,... ( Sanctification )

2nd Blessing – Strength and power of God to live the Christian life.

( Rom 8:2 & Acts 1:8 )

(3) I will be saved,... ( Glorification )

3rd Blessing – Reproducing God’s glory in us. ( I cor 15:50-53 )

Are You Saved?

(1) I am saved already from the guilt & punishment of sin.

Justification ( Past Tense ) John 5:24 Eph 2:8

(2) I am being saved, presently & continuously daily, from the power & slavery to sin.

Sanctification ( Present Tense ) I Cor 1:18 II Cor 2:15

(3) I will be saved, from the presence and nature of sin, when I receive a new body.

Glorification ( Future Tense ) Phil 1:6 Phil 3:20-21
